Tivat Airport with Bus Routes and Times

Taking a public transportation service from Tivat Airport to your final destination is generally impossible. There are bus stops along the main road that passes the airport, but you shouldn't risk walking there.

If you don't have access to a vehicle, the bus ride generally costs you between €4 and €9 and takes two hours. However, we don’t recommend the bus as a transportation option.

At this time, your only choice is to take a taxi. Taxi fares to and from Tivat Airport should be negotiated in advance. For more information on our taxi services, please visit our taxi page.

Montenegro Bus Services

You can easily reach other cities in Montenegro from the Tivat, Kotor, and Budva bus stations, such as Herceg Novi, Podgorica, Petrovac, Bar, and Ulcinj. You can also visit places like Dubrovnik, Croatia, outside Montenegro. Along the coast, Mediteran Express is the most well-known bus service.

There are more bus connections during the summertime peak season compared to the off-season. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Budva's Old Town from the bus station or a maximum of €5 in a taxi.

The main bus station has a €2.00 per person entrance fee. The Budva Bus Terminal has a luggage storage service.
